Suntech solar panel 20W 12V, a compact monocrystalline solar panel for solar battery charger

This 12v 20w solar panel can solar charge small to medium sized batteries where mounting space is a problem, such as RV, marine or caravan batteries for running low power lights and small appliances that won't need much power like TVs VCRs, computers, radios and small water pumps.
The STA020-12 modules are composed of 36 monocrystalline silicon solar cells of similar performance, interconnected in series to obtain the 12 Volt output. Heavy-duty anodized aluminium frames provide strength for rugged all-weather use and convenient mounting access. Unique textured surface and bypass diodes ensure sunlight is fully utilised to attain maximum photovoltaic effect.
The solar cells are laminated between high transmissivity, low-iron, 3mm tempered glass and a sheet of tedlar-polyeaster-tedlar (TPT) material sandwiched between two sheets of ethylene Vinyl acetate (EVA). This protects against moisture penetrating into the module.
